To celebrate the launch of our clothing line "Cowgirl Surf Club", We are holding an exclusive retreat dedicated to inspiring both beginner, novice or experienced coastal cowgirls alike.
Set on an amazing beachside ranch in Northern NSW, it features over 7 workshops, including horsemanship, cowboy hat shaping, roping, western styling, content creation, professional portrait photograph of you, ranch style lunch & dinner, buffet breakfast, live western music, boot scootin boogie line dancing, master a margie with our cocktail making workshop.

What are the workshops?
- Vintage Country Western Styling Session - Dressing up in a rack full of Vintage Western Clothes and personally styled By Strange Days Store - Website
- Horsemanship & Liberty Workshop with Caleb Degen - Instagram , who is a lead performer and trick rider at The Outback Spectacular
- Photography workshop, learning the basic art of utilising natural light for your Iphone and professional camera shots, simple posing techniques for you to have fun with when you get your portrait shot. You will walk away with a new coastal cowgirl western styled profile shot for your instagram with founder and professional Photographer and Filmer Kristin Donohue - Instagram
- Bring along your cowboy hat to get professionally shaped, learn the different ways you can shape your cowboy hat yourself.
- Master the Margie with a western cocktail making class where you will be able to make 2 cocktails of your own.
- Learn to lasso like a Cowgirl, learning the basics of swinging and throwing a rope to catch your next calf or just a fun party trick to know.
- Boot scoot boogie with a choreographed line dancing routine that you will be able to use at your next hoedown.
Who's it for?
Anyone over the age of 16, beginner, novice and experienced cowgirls & cowboys! Anyone who loves the country & coast combined.
Don't know anyone? That's okay, we will make sure you feel welcome and go home with a bunch of new friends.
When is it, and where do we stay?
2rd and 3rd November 2024! We recommend arriving on the Friday night before to camp or meet early morning on Saturday the 2nd. We will be kicking off the event at 9am.
We will be camping the whole weekend! There are amenities on site so we have you covered for a shower and toilets!
With an additional cost we can organise glamping tents for you and your friends or if you prefer to have your own shower and toilet, caravans are also available for hire.
Where is it?
On a private beach side ranch in South Ballina, which is just south of Byron Bay, NSW!

What to bring?
- Your sleeping arrangments (Tent / Swag / Own bedding)
- Your finest cowgirl get up, 1 outfit to get dirty and one outfit to dress up for your styling and photography session and a spare outfit for the night with line dancing and a ranch style dinner.
- We will be providing small selection of drinks, if you prefer to bring your own that is also fine, we can arrange for these to be cooled for you.
- A chair or rug for camp fire chats
What not to bring?
As much as we love our fury friends, please refrain from bringing them along this time. This includes horses and dogs.

What to do after purchasing ticket?
After you have registered, you’ll be sent an email with information to fill out! We will also be adding you into a group chat on instagram so we can all get to know each other before the event. If for some reason you do not receive this, please contact me asap or check your spam emails.
One week prior to the event you will be receiving final instructions with EVERYTHING you need to know!
If you have any questions in the mean time, please contact me via the contact form and I will get back to you as soon as I can!
Change of mind
If you do decide to change your mind, please let us know as soon as possible so we can help you fill your spot. If you cannot find anyone to fill your spot we will not be able to refund you. We close off advertisements when we are completely full so the sooner you decide to sell your ticket the more time you’ll have to organise this! Please keep this in mind when purchasing your ticket!
Cost of ticket
Your ticket is paying for the whole private facility and accomodation, workshops, dinner, lunch and breakfast and the team for their expertise, work and time.
